If you are looking for a new Raspberry Pi project to keep you busy one weekend, you may be interested in this new DIY Raspberry Pi night vision camera which has been created by Hack A Day member Wesley Archer.
Using a Raspberry Pi Model B mini PC together with a Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera Module anda unique lighting accessory in the form of a Lisiparoi, Wesley has created a self-contained night vision CCTV camera system powered by the Raspberry Pi.
Wesley explains a little more about the project :
Having bought the original Raspberry Pi Model B when it was launched back in 2012, I wanted to make sure it was still put to use and not abandoned in favour of the newer, faster 2 and 3 models. Using the fantastic MotionEye OS, I created a quick and dirty night-vision CCTV hack whilst making use of the relatively unknown Lisiparoi accessory sold by Cyntech.co.uk.
