Apple Considering Manufacturing iPhones In The US

iphones

Apple’s iPhones are currently made outside of the US and now Apple is looking into the possibility of making the smartphones in the US.

With the recent election of Donald Trump as the US President, there could be changes to the way companies who make their products overseas are treated.

According to a recent report Apple has been asking its two major manufacturing partners, Foxconn and Pegatron to to into the possibility of moving their iPhone production to the US.

Apple’s iPhones are made in China at the moment and if Donald Trump does what he said before the election, Apple could be forced to move production of their iPhones to the US.

If Apple does start making its iPhones in the US, the cost of producing the handsets could be increased significantly and this could end up being passed onto the consumer.
