Apple has removed its tool that lets you check where an iPhone or iPad has an activation lock, the tool was previously on iCloud.com.
The Activation Lock Tool lets you check an iPhone, iPad or an iPod Touch using either the IMEI number or the serial number to see if the handset has an activation lock.
The tool was useful if you were buying a pre-owned iPhone or iPad from sites like Ebay, and the feature is turned on automatically on devices when the Find My iPhone app is installed and setup.
As yet there are no details on why Apple may have removed the Activation Lock feature from their iCloud.com website, as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
