All the gamers need to do is integrate Xbox Live social experiences like sign-in, presence, leaderboards and others on to the game title. Then the game has to go through a short and simple certification process. Once your game is certified, it is good to go on Xbox Live.
Game developers can easily create or utilise existing code to develop their game. Microsoft’s supported game engines include Construct 2, MonoGame, Unity and Xenko. This program is still in preview and is expected to reach out to a wider audience in the coming weeks.
This is surprising, as Microsoft is known to be very stringent with its game library and indie game developers, and this seems like a welcoming opportunity for them.

The sign-up process for Steam Direct entails a set of digital paperwork, along with personal or company verification and tax documents. This new service will let game developers publish games on its platform for a fee. The fee for publishing hasn’t been started yet, however, it is expected to fall between $100 and $5000.
