Have now raised twice their required pledge goal via the Kickstarter crowdfunding website, with still over two weeks left remaining on their campaign. Making sure the planning system jumps to the next step thanks to over 1,960 backers.
The Slice Planner system takes the form of a paper-based notebook with pages printed with a unique radial planning system, allowing you to combine both digital and paper based calendars with ease using augments reality.
Having played with both the beta version of the smartphone application and paper-based notebook the system provides a great way to bridge the gap between traditional note taking and digital daily planning.
Personally I always find physical notebooks much more engaging and quicker to thrash out ideas, projects and daily planning schedules, but then get frustrated when the paper notes are not easily accessible from my smartphone device. Slice Planner help solve this problem and allows you to keep both your daily note based schedule and digital calendar in synchronisation.
The Slice Planner app is still under development at the current time but provide a good glimpse at the unique way the system works enabling you to view your daily appointments and any possible conflicts using augmented reality.
