The upcoming watchOS 3.2 update will come with the much-needed Theatre Mode for the Apple Watch . Apple 's Developer Guide details the feature saying that the Theater Mode, when enabled, will mute the sound and prevent the screen from waking up when you raise your wrist.

This will be helpful for those watching a movie in a theater and have the sense of not shoving their bright display on the faces of the rest of the audience.

You will still receive your notifications on your watch but through haptic feedback. You also view them by pressing on the digital crown or tapping on the screen as they arrive.

Despite Apple's best efforts to allow for a non-intruding theatre experience, the onus ultimately lies on the user to enable the feature and be less annoying.

In addition, Apple also added Sirikit support to watchOS 3.2 which will now allow third-party app makers to leverage Siri to launch the apps and operate them. For example, you can now hail and Uber or send a WhatsApp message using Siri directly through your Apple Watch.

Apple has not confirmed a release date for watchOS 3.2 either for developers or for consumers. The minor watchOS 3.1.3 update was released earlier this week.
