According to a recent report Samsung has signed a new $4.3 billion deal with Apple to supply the company with OLED display for future iPhones including the iPhone 8.
We previously heard that Samsung has signed a deal with Apple to supply the company with 100 million OLED displays for its future handsets, this new deal is on top of the previous one.
Apple are rumored to use an OLED display in one version of this years 5.5 inch iPhone 8 Plus and also rumored to switch to OLED display in all of their iPhones in the next few years.
Samsung’s OLED display are popular and are used in 95% of smartphones that come with an OLED display.
Apple are rumored to be launching their new iPhone 8 range some time in September, as soon as we get some more details about the handsets, we will let you guys know.
