Chinese hardware manufacturer Meizu has this week revealed its new Meizu Super mCharge smartphone charging technology which is capable of charging a smartphone from flat to full in just 20 minutes.
At the Mobile World Conference 2017 this week Meizu has been showcasing the new Super mCharge system which is capable of charging a flat 3,000 mAh battery in just 20 minutes.
In comparison Qualcomm’s new Quick Charge 4 technology is capable of charging a 2,750 mAh battery from 0 to 50 percent in 15 minutes. Although theoretically Qualcomm’s Quick Charge can support up to 60W if required. Meizu has designed their system to provide 11v/5A current for up to 55 watts of power.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
