As we are marching our way to bid goodbye to year 2016, companies worldwide are out with a quick recap of their journey this year. And Uber is very much keeping up with the trend. The ride-sharing app has revealed some interesting data that may motivate even more people to ride and drive via Uber in India. Whether you believe or not, a single rider in Bangalore took 3,135 rides. This is the highest number of trips taken by a single rider worldwide.

“When it comes to getting around your city - Uber clearly emerged as the obvious choice for riders world over - whether it was to get to that special event, across town for family dinner, or around a new city on the other side of the world. We would like to thank our riders and drivers for the journeys. We found some very interesting trends in 2016, including, that of a rider in Bangalore, India, who took almost 3,135 trips, making it the highest number of rides taken by a single rider, globally. Uber On!,” said Amit Jain, President, Uber India and South Asia.

More interestingly, the company also unveiled the most popular travel destinations for India-based Uber riders who love to travel. And that included United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and Malaysia. However, visitors from over 70 countries across the world, chose to Uber in India.

Besides this, Uber riders are explorers, too. The following international cities are the most popular on-the-rise destinations with global travellers:
